Rosemary
Rosemary is an aromatic bush originally from the Mediterranean region and from the Lamiaceae family. The plant is rich in a wide variety of active ingredients, and it is important to remember that Rosemary essential oil can have different chemotypes depending on the region and the climate where the plant was cultivated. The main three chemotypes are: camphor, 1,8 cineol (Eucalyptus), and verbenone. It is important to understand them because each has its own characteristics and indications. Camphor tends to be a good muscle relaxant, 1,8 cineol is a good respiratory system tonic, and verbenone is known for its liver-detoxifying properties
